Here at All Design & Print we offer a full graphic design service, but we are more than happy to print from your supplied artwork as long as it adheres to the guidelines below.
All artwork supplied must be based in CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow blacK) unless a spot/pantone colour is also specified. We are well equipped to run five-colour work if required. It is essential that black text is generated using only the black plate.
When obtaining images for print, please ensure that they have a resolution of at least 300dpi (dots per inch). Images obtained from or created for the internet are generally 72dpi and are unsuitable to print from as they tend to end up "pixelated".
For best results, please send files in PDF format. If you supply files that are RGB (Red Green Blue - screen format) or unspecified spot/pantone colours they will automatically be converted to CMYK, this can slightly change colours as they may appear different from what is seen on screen.
When supplying files, please allow a 3mm bleed on all sides of artwork as our printers require this to ensure no white margins occur when your items are trimmed to size. When positioning text, please allow 3mm from the edge of the finished document (6mm including bleed) to allow for cutting.
We will provide you with a colour proof copy on request, but this will not be an exact colour match.
We are able to support the following software file formats: InDesign, Quark Xpress, Photoshop and Illustrator.
We do not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies in customer supplied artwork, such as spelling, grammar or telephone numbers. Whilst every effort will be made to inform you of any apparent errors, we will reproduce the artwork you provide without further proof-reading on our part. Any manipulation required to make supplied files print ready will be charged for.
